Cache Valley Strong
With all the craziness and uncertainty that the COVID-19 has brought, there is a flip side to all of this. I have seen our small community in Cache Valley do big things in the last several weeks and I am so proud to be a part of something bigger than myself. Our window cleaning technicians, the business owners, and the community as a whole have proved to be #cachevalleystrong.
The window cleaning technicians as well as the construction cleaning technicians in our field haven’t been as affected as other industries and so our team has continued to work as much as they can, deemed “essential”. I see them ban together in the way they treat each other, the way they treat their clients, and the appreciation that they have for being able to continue to work.
Being a small business owner, it is a little trickier to have something like a pandemic hit our local economy. It doesn’t just affect our immediate families, but it could possibly hurt the families that we employ if we don’t have work for them. I have seen us as owners find ways to be more creative to provide the best for each of our employees and it has increased the positive culture within our small business.
The strength that such a small community can bring is exciting! The local support with Logan businesses as well as the surrounding areas is what makes this valley so appealing. The new “normal” will be quite the journey to create as individuals, businesses, and as a community culture. Each of us will come out different from how we approached this experience and I believe it will prove us all to be Cache Valley Strong.
